This Zambia lodge is situated on the northern banks of the Zambezi River, 10 kilometres (6.2 miles) upstream from Livingstone town and 15 kilometres upstream from the Victoria Falls.
Welcoming drinks and excellent cuisine are enjoyed from the centrally situated lounge and dining area. There is also a swimming pool with a water level bar and a thatched lapa in which to simply relax during the heat of the day. An assortment of pre-dinner snacks are prepared on the deck at sundowner time, when guests can enjoy the Zambezi's famous sunsets and perhaps watch the regular procession of Elephant as they follow an age-old migration route that runs directly in front of the Zambia safari lodge. Common sightings within the Mosi-O-Tunya National Park are White Rhino, Giraffe, Impala, Zebra, Wildebeest, Buffalo and a wide variety of birds. Various night options are available
Visa Requirements:
Please always check these with your agent or nearest Safari Par Excellence Office. Currently, if clients’ passport details are received by Safari Par Excellence a minimum of 72 hours prior to entry into Zambia, we will enter these onto a manifest, which we give to the Immigration Department and visa charges will then be exempt. If we do not receive these details, then Safari Par Excellence will not be responsible for the visa costs - these will be for the client's own account. We will require the client’s full name, date of birth, passport type (i.e. British), passport number, date of issue and date of expiry. Should this arrangement with the Immigration Department of Zambia change - the agent will be notified accordingly.

Insurance:
All clients are covered by Medical Air Rescue Servicem (MARS) through Safari Par Excellence, however this only covers them for emergency evacuation in life threatening situations. It does not cover their hospitalisation and medication. As such travel and medical insurance is compulsory for all clients. Please ensure clients have arranged this insurance in their own country prior to leaving so as to cover unexpected medical expenses and loss / theft of personal effects. Please ensure clients bring the details of their insurance policy with them. Safari Par Excellence will not be able to cover clients should they not have the insurance.
