The Zambia accommodation offered at Old Mondoro consists of chalets with paraffin lanterns, flush toilets, wash basin, and shower each built around an ancient winter thorn tree, and each with 24 hour cold water. Hot water is delivered to your authentic Zambia accommodation by wheelbarrow on request. This hot water is then stored in old fashioned canvas buckets.
Comfortable beds and mosquito nets complete the Zambia accommodation – all with wonderful views. The kitchen has a 220v generator for charging batteries.
Old Mondoro's accommodation consists of 8 beds for independent travellers in 4 bush chalets or 10 beds for groups by special request. Two bush chalets each with 2 twin / single size beds, and 2 bush chalets each with a double, plus one guide / pilot bush chalet with 2 twin / single beds.
