  • This Zambia safari lodge is renowned for its fine cuisine and excellent service. Guest enjoy meals including three-course dinners in a central thatched dining area, which leads into a comfortable lounge with a well-stocked reference library.

    Overlooking the river and adjacent to the main complex is a raised balcony which is ideal for enjoying sundowners or simply relaxing or reading during the heat of the day.

    The Lower Zambezi National Park is a relatively unexplored National Park in Zambia being less known than the likes of the Luangwa and the Kafue. It is approximately 4000 kilometres square in extent and is situated in the Lower Zambezi, the Chongwe River forming the western boundary (opposite Mana Pools Head Quarters) and the Musensenshi River forming the eastern boundary. The park has become more and more popular to tourists wanting to visit the Zambezi River and the incredible wildlife and the area affords.

    Age restriction:
    The minimum age restriction at this Zambia safari lodge is 15 years. There is no maximum age restriction.

    Visa requirements:
    Double entry visas for people requiring visas for re-entry into Zimbabwe. Zambian visas can be obtained at all border posts on arrival at an extra cost. Cost of visas and amounts of currencies that can be imported / exported from Zimbabwe or Zambia do change. Please check prior to commencement of the safari.

    Insurance:
    All clients are covered by Medical Air Rescue Service (MARS) through Safari Par Excellence, however, this only covers them for emergency evacuation in life threatening situations. It does not cover their hospitalisation and medication. As such travel and medical insurance is compulsory for all clients. Please ensure clients have arranged this insurance in their own country prior to leaving so as to cover unexpected medical expensed and loss / theft of personal affects. Please ensure clients bring the details of their insurance policy with them. Safari Par Excellence will not be able to cover clients should they not have insurance.

    01 June to 31 October (closed during the rainy season).
