Encounter the abundant flora and fauna indigenous to this pristine tract of Africa. Enjoy superb Zambia safaris on foot, game drives, night drives and canoeing safaris. Lunga Canoe Adventure offers you a tranquil paddle on a beautiful river - lots of birds and game, but no other boats or canoes. Lunga River is in the Kafue National Park.
Departures take place every Sunday, Monday, and Friday from your Zambia safari lodge. You must overnight at Lunga River Lodge the night prior to departure. Other accommodation will be at Nkondo Camp - a luxury fly camp. Nkondo Camp offers adequate accommodation for 6 guests in 3 walk-in safari tents with an en-suite bucket shower, bush toilet and basin.
The variety of game viewing activities combined with the diversity of both habitat and species make this a very special safari. Kafue Paddle and Walk safaris take part in the north Kafue National Park. Departures are every Sunday.
The Lunga Air Shuttle provides regular access to the north Kafue National Park from the following airports and airstrips: Lusaka, Livingstone - Victoria Falls area, Lukuzi and Mfuwe - South Luangwa National Park, Jeki - Lower Zambezi National Park and Kasane, Botswana.
