There are 4 twin bedded chalets and one honeymoon suite set apart in a tall ebony grove at this Zambia safari lodge. All Kaingo Camp rooms have en-suite bathrooms and are well ventilated and mosquito proofed. These brick and thatch chalets are set discreetly apart and each has a view of the Luangwa River.
Central to Kaingo (meaning Leopard) Camp life is a large open-sided sitting room -chitenge. This beautiful thatched area includes a dining room, library and Kaingo Camp's renowned leadwood bar.
Kaingo Camp's special feature is its unique wooden deck built out over the river. From this relaxing vantage point you can view game coming to drink, watch basking Hippo, follow water birds darting for fish and witness daily Elephant crossings.
Meals are varied and of a high international standard using abundant fresh produce from the Shenton family farm. Ice cold drinks are always available at this Zambia safari lodge and drinking water is from a borehole.
Game viewing from Kaingo includes walking safaris, game drives and night drives, midday trips into the ebony forest and to the Hippo hide. For the more adventurous, a 3 hour walk leads you to Kaingo's sister camp - Mwamba Bush Camp, where a different safari experience awaits you.

Warthog
