    The best time to travel is from June to October. The rains begin in November and last until early April, with occasional rains in November / December. The peak of the rainy season occurs from January to early April, with short heavy rainstorms mainly at night.

    The winter nights, in June and July are cool and sometimes cold, with warm and pleasant days. June is the coldest month and September to December brings hot days and warm nights. October is the hottest month.
